Our First Gingerbread House
These things arent as easy as they look...Ted and I made this one together..it was fun and the end product looks pretty good!!

Made this cake for a church auction...chocolate pumpkins and acorns...fondant leaves....
It went for 80.00...at least it was for a good cause..


Michigan State Grad
Made this cake for a co-workers son that graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Finance...he also sold books during the summer to earn extra money ..so his mom suggested a money bag and books for his cake....
The cake was chocolate with fudge frosting, fondant and the money bag was filled with rice krispy treats....100.00 bills were made with fondant and edible paper...

Made these for my co-workers for Breast Cancer Awareness Month...Each jar is a cupcake layered with strawberry preserves, cream cheese frosting and pink ribbon sprinkles. Topped with a pink ribbon and mini spoon.
These would be great for showers,birthdays, & wedding favors...cake combinations are endless as the lid decorations

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
I made 27 of these for a 4th of July cookout with our family.
I made the carrier, printed the tissue and made the fry holder packets.
The "hamburgers" are cupcakes and brownies the "ketchup and mustard" is frosting and the "fries" are sugar cookies....They were a big hit:)

Castle Cake This cake was made for a co-worker's 6 year old daughter. She has a gluten allergy and this was my first gluten free cake....had to take alot of precautions to make sure it was ok for her to eat.

Sam is 9 years old!!!
This cake was made for my grandson. Sam is a lover of all things wrestling. He is also on a wrestling team and has won several medals.
He wanted a wrestling belt for his cake this year...
We made him a wrestling belt with the initials KWF, the name for his club "Kids Wrestling Federation" ( He made the name up.)
We put a digital frame on the top layer that played all his wrestling pictures and made 2 dozen sugar cookies with edible prints of some of his wrestling pictures....He said it was "awesome"

David's First Communion

Made for the 8yr. old son of a dear friend and former co-worker.
Book cake is marble cake with fondant and buttercream. This cake will serve approx. 30 people.
David's only request was that he wanted his picture on the cake and he couldn't decide on chocolate or white so he got both!! Marble!!

Alex's Birthday Cake
Made for my granddaughter Alex for her 12th birthday party.......This matched her invitation. Top layer was chocolate and bottom layer was yellow both cakes had chocolate chip cookie in the center. Along with the cake we had cake balls. Really good cake and frosting mixture surrounded with chocolate on a stick!

Baby Ducks in Miniature Barrels
Great idea for baby showers, replacing the traditional cake and substituting these as a favor/dessert for each guest. They can be gift wrapped in clear wrap and put at each place setting.
The "treat" is made from chocolate,fondant and a cake mixture in the barrel. All is displayed on a sugar cookie covered in fondant with frosting grass.

This is the second birthday cake I have made for a
dear friends grandson. Collin is now the big 2 !!
Thomas is made from rice krispie treats and covered with fondant. The cake is layered with frosting and covered with fondant. All is edible, even the "rocks". Included with Collin's cake was a dozen sugar cookies covered in fondant.
Collin's grandma emailed me and said the "cake was a hit"!! Yeaaaaaa! Happy Birthday and many more Collin.

Hat box made for the family of a dear friend

This hat box was made with love for the family of a dear friend and former"boss" for over 20 years. I gave it to the family to hold all the cards and notes/momentos of her funeral service. She will be missed. Inside the lid is a copy of her obituary...the outside has dates and names of her sons and their families.

Anna's Christening Gift Box

This hat box was made for my granddaughter Anna's christening...It held a bible ...and later it can hold birthday cards, pictures, school papers etc.

Gift Box for Baby Shower

This shower gift box was made ( my co-workers 1st grandchild ) with interlocking foam squares (the rest were given as part of the shower gift). It features a foam envelope with the baby's name on a "bracelet" and t shirts with different "sayings" on them..

"Spaghetti and Meat Balls"

This delicious platter of "Spaghetti and Meatballs" is actually cake with buttercream frosting!

"Vegetable Basket"

This "box of vegetables" is completely edible. The fondant vegetables rest on a 2 layer cake covered with wood grain in edible print.

"Butterfly Gift Box"

This hat box was made for a lady celebrating her new life after a recent divorce!!!

Easter eggs "taking a dip in color"

These Easter eggs are taking a dip to get ready for Easter! The eggs are chocolate and the "swimmin' holes" are cake surround by chocolate...resting on a 2 layer cake. All is edible but the "ladder"!
